Tropical Storm Allison and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita Disaster Response - Our management team was directly involved in the initial response for EMS services in conjunction with several local, state and federal agencies providing services and securing additional resources for three of the largest natural disasters to impact the Texas Gulf Coast. In particular for the largest of these responses, our team was responsible for the procurement and on-site oversight of all private EMS operations at Reliant Park providing EMS transportation services, interaction with government officials and the contracting of additional support services.

Hurricane Ike Disaster Recovery - Working for the largest electric utility provider in the South Texas region, our company was contracted to assist in procuring on site First Aid and EMS services for multiple locations throughout the region for an extended period during the restoration of electricity to 2.2 million customers throughout Southeast Texas.

Major Events - Our company coordinated and had direct oversight of all EMS and VIP medical services for the largest professional football game held at Reliant Park. This included the drafting and implementation of an Emergency Operations and Mass Casualty Incident Plan to meet the stringent standards of the promoter. We provided direct management and operations oversight to over 100 on-site medics, in addition to coordinating these services with several local, state and federal emergency response agencies.
For the past seven years, our management team has been intimately involved in providing on-site EMS coverage and transportation services for one of the largest single-day marathon events in Houston involving over 17,000 participants. Additionally, during its two-year run in Houston, AOS was involved in all aspects of EMS planning and operations for the Houston Grand Prix including providing on-track EMS personnel, multiple first aid stations, mobile first aid teams, and coordination of services with Champ Car Medical. We have worked with local NCAA Division I football, basketball and baseball programs throughout Houston in the planning and execution of on-site EMS services and facility management.

Motocross, Monster Truck and Thrill Shows - Contracted by one of the nation’s largest event promoters, we were charged with the evaluation, contract management and institution of on-site EMS coverage for over 300 Monster Truck, motocross and thrill show events across the U.S. and Canada.

Sports & Entertainment Facilities - Over the past 15 years, the management team of AOS has been involved with the on-site EMS for three of Houston’s largest professional sports and entertainment facilities. This work has included drafting Request for Proposals for EMS services, staffing daily EMS operations personnel, providing direct management oversight of said services for over 600 events annually, drafting Emergency Operations and Mass Casualty Incident Plans for each facility and coordinating staffing for all events with facility management and promoters.

Professional Sports - AOS and its affiliated companies have worked with professional sports teams in coordinating EMS services. Our work has included providing training programs for medical staff, coordination of medical protocols, providing staffing for training camps, and staffing specifically-trained EMS personnel to work in conjunction with these teams.
- 911 Operations - AOS’ management team possesses direct management experience in the operation of 911 services This includes the drafting of responses for Requests for Proposals, evaluation of municipal and rural 911 operations, budgetary developments, and training programs.
